Incorporating the Andela Glass
Breaker System into your recycling facility will provide
you with superior glass processing capability. Each system consists
of a metering surge hopper, glass breaker, two conveyors, a
trommel separator, cross-belt magnet, and optional Tectron metal
detector.
The Andela Metering Surge
Hopper is designed to accept large quantities of glass which
are metered out evenly onto the Glass Breaker loading conveyor.
This equipment prevents a large surge of material from overloading
the conveyor and breaker.
The Andela Glass Breaker
is designed to reduce all kinds of glass into cullet. The Breaker
speed can be reduced to produce a larger cullet for size reduction
-- or speed increased to produce aggregate (in conjunction with
a trommel for size separation).
The Cross-Belt Magnet removes
ferrous metal from the trash before it enters the Trommel Separator.
The Andela Trommel Separator
is designed to separate and size the glass cullet and to sort
out any material or trash.
The Tectron
System will remove any small amounts of metal from the processed
glass to make furnace ready cullet.
The Andela System is a labor-saving
and cost effective as a complete, stand-alone operation.
