Major advances have been made in the field of glass
recycling. Incorporating the Andela Glass Pulverizing
System into your recycling facility will provide you
with superior glass processing capability. It will easily convert
your waste glass into products of value for re-use right in
your own community.
At the heart of the Andela Glass Pulverizing System is the patented Andela Glass
Pulverizer. It uses a flexible high impact flailing system to
pulverizer glass into usable aggregate the consistency of coarse
sand or fine gravel. This flexible impact system eliminates
the grinding process typical of other machines and produces
a distinctly different product which is easy to handle because
it is cubic in nature- not sharp!
All moving parts are readily accessible
for ease of maintenance and replacement. Rubber seals isolate
and protect all open air bearing and a wear resistant liner
protects the inside of the machine.
The Andela Glass Pulverizer
System is an inexpensive system that turns large volumes
of glass into "sand" and "gravel" with no
sharp edges.
The Andela Glass Pulverizer
is designed to reduce all kinds of glass into an aggregate the
consistency of sand and fine gravel. The glass-aggregate is
3/8" minus in size, ranging in consistency from fine sand
to gravel. The pulverized glass produced by the Andela Pulverizer
does not have any sharp edges and can be safely handled without
concern of cuts or abrasions of any kind. The Andela Glass Pulverizer
has a patented flexible impact system to produce this superior
glass-sand product and is easy to access and maintain.
The Andela Trommel Separator
is designed to separate and size the glass- aggregate and to
sort out any material or trash that is larger than 3/8"
in size. If material other than glass (plastic, metal caps or
covers) goes through the Andela Glass Pulverizer, it will keep
its larger form and be easily separated from the glass-sand
with the Trommel Separator. One or two screen sizes can be used
to produce one aggregate mix (3/8" minus) or two different
sized aggregates (1/8" minus and 1/8"-3/8")
Andela Metering Surge Hopper
The Andela Metering Surge
Hopper is designed to accept large quantities of glass
to be metered out evenly onto the Andela Glass Pulverizer Loading
Conveyor. The Metering Surge Hopper is designed to be loaded
with a front end loading vehicle or similar equipment. It prevents
a large surge of material from overloading the conveyor and
pulverizer.
The Pulverizer and Trommel Loading
Conveyors are provided to safely convey the whole glass
or cullet into the Andela Glass Pulverizer and the pulverized
glass into Andela Trommel Separator. For safety considerations,
the Andela Glass Pulverizer should be loaded with a Pulverizer
Loading Conveyor.
The
Andela Glass Breaker
The Andela Glass Breaker is designed to reduce all kinds of glass
into cullet.
The Andela Breaker System does
a lot more then break bottles!
The Andela Breaker System for furnace
ready cullet:
- Adjustable speed for cullet
sizes from 2" minus down to 1/2" minus
- Glass is liberated from paper
and caps for ease of separation
- Andela Trommel Separator removes
caps and large paper
- Metal removal by ferrous separator
prior to trommel and after trommel,
- detection and removal system
for small non-ferrous and ferrous.
