GP-05
System Layout
Surge
Hopper:
4 cu. yrd. surge hopper with reciprocating plate feeder and
adjustable door opening. Load glass into hopper to continually
meter and feed glass onto conveyor.
Infeed
Conveyor:
12" wide cleated conveyor with high sides. Conveys glass
up into the pulverizer.
Glass
Pulverizer:
Andela patented flexible impactors selectively reduce glass into a
user friendly glass sand material. It leaves the bottle caps
and other debris whole for ease of separation.
Screen:
Pulverized
glass falls directly into the screen to separate the glass sand
from the larger debris. The glass sand falls through the 3/8"
screen into the first container under the system. The trash
exits the end of the screen into the other container.
